On the 40th anniversary of Faber-Castell’s entry into the cosmetics industry, the 257-year-old company that has been an icon in the stationery business, announced it will open a plant in the U.S., in the Chicago area, convenient to O’Hare International Airport.
Countess Mary von Faber-Castell, president, Faber-Castell Cosmetics, said the move comes at the demand of their U.S. customers and their need for a local, efficient supply chain.

The supplier’s popular color cosmetics pencils will be the first products to be manufactured in the new facility.
